Hey everyone! For starting our eighth year running, we’re getting a group together to hang out at Alive in Roswell. It’s always the third Thursday of every month from April to October. So this one on April 16th will be their first one of the new year. It’s always well attended and there will likely be thousands of people there. We shall join them while hiding in plain site, like us upside down pineapples are so good at.
The plan is that we have a meeting spot where we congregate that has plenty of room for us to stretch out and the music isn’t too loud so we can all talk easily. That spot will be announced upon RSVP. That first spot is usually from 6:00 - 9:15. That’s when the band usually ends and then we head about a mile down the road to a fun karaoke bar with a cool outdoor deck. That usually goes until maybe a little after 11:00.

We realize it’s a school night so stay as long as you can. Some people come just for the first part of the night, some just the second part and then a lot of us do both. There are plenty of places of free parking at both locations and some pay lots. But you can street park there easily enough but the sooner you get there the better the spot you’ll get.
You can bring a folding chair for the first part of the night but most of the people just stand and talk for that. I also recommend bringing a cooler with your favorite drink and maybe a yeti cup. I tend to bring some beverages to share but maybe best to just bring whatever you enjoy. You can certainly buy drinks there but they can get a little pricey, which is why I prefer to bring my own. There are also plenty of places to eat around there.
Hopefully you can all make it for the inauguralo night of what is a super fun outdoor street festival.

Awesome Time
We attended the Xmas Cheetah party and had a blast. Met lots of great people and socialized until the party moved elsewhere. Look forward to the next event for sure!!!
