This was a great event. Next time though, could you turn down the music during the meet and greet. It’s hard to “meet” when you’re shouting the whole time.

We had a great time at the Decadence Ball. Great venue and amazing crowd. If I had one criticism it would be the music. The main ballroom was advertised as 80's, 90's pop. Something like that. It definitely was not that. Very little difference between the two ballrooms on music style. That's it. We will definitely come back next year.

This was our third Decadence Ball to attend and we feel that they finally got it right. The new hotel was perfect for the event. Clean and in good shape, with all of the needed amenities. The music at the party and in the lobby was consistently good. The sound quality and volume were good for this sort of event. The dance floor and bar set up seemed to work very well, with very quick service. The Lighting and video set up was outstanding as well. The team did a good job of communicating the schedule of events. It would have been good to have had it in writing, either on a sign or paper, but it was easy to find online and they stuck to it. Lastly, the crowd was the sexiest crowd that I think I’ve seen at a large event. Everyone that we spoke to was friendly. We saw no sort of altercation throughout the entire event. To sum it up, this event was absolutely great. We can not wait for the next one.

This was our first hotel takeover. We could not have asked for a better experience!! It was very well organized, everything seems to run smoothly and on time. I’m not sure what we expected but we were blown away by all the sexy people! Music was great. Decorations were amazing. The hotel was good. The lack of ice machines was a bit inconvenient but not a huge deal. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I think they were a little overwhelmed by the number of people at the pajama party on the 30th in the lobby bar. Service was really slow for the first part of the night. They did get better as the night went on. Overall - 10/10 I would recommend and we will be booking for the next Decadence event as soon as we see one we can get to. THANK YOU!!!

Party and People were great again this year. Facility is what it is. But we had elevators working! Thanks to staff who worked so hard to make this happen.

We have been to the last 5 years party but will stop attending. Guess we are getting old. Wife loves dancing but the music has gotten worse every year. .

A few minor hiccups, but the people and atmosphere were awesome. Going back next year!

We had an amazing time with all our like minded friends. The DJ's did a phenomenal job keeping everyone moving. There were plenty of friendly people ready and willing to meet and converse. Aside from the elevator issues and long waits and/or trips up the stairs, we are satisfied with how we spent New Years weekend. It would be nice if there was something to keep the masses engaged during the daytime.

Hotel was crap. No hot water! Elevators broken! Standing around the dance floor because you only sold seats! The lodge was very good. But we added up the bill to close to $2000! Met some really good couples though. Will never do this event again!

The venue old and plagued was elevator issues causing long waits but fun rides in packed elevators. Lots of sexy friendly people from around Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and some further. The event should have made people aware that there was a third bar just feet away down stairs staffed with three bar tenders serving better drinks. There were complaints about the music but I am not a sound guy or music junkie to know. There were public NO PLAY ROOMS of any kind. We feel more comfortable playing with new couples in public play rooms and took for granted that a Hotel take over like this would not have them. We attended the parties on Saturday and Sunday, we enjoyed ourselves and felt overall a good friendly vide.

DJ only played edm music, would not play anything worth dancing to no bump and grind music ever. The elevators did not work, no ice on any floor, definitely will not be staying at the Crowne Plaza again. Really had good food at the buffet! Thankful for the event in order to experience a good time with like-minded adults. Think they should’ve vetted the location a little bit better, but would not want to have the responsibility of arranging an event like this, either! Lots of moving parts, lots of planning, can’t imagine the complexity. Very thankful for the organizers. The hotel failed them, and the DJ should pay attention to the attendees a little bit better.

I get it now! This was such a blast! Everyone is just so nice and so sexy! A few hiccups (elevator and plumbing issues) but the parties were perfect.

Was a great crowd who chose to make lemonade from the lemons of the event Positives: · Fun and good-looking crowd · Centrally located in Dallas · Our hotel room was clean and without foul odor · Music choices were great Negatives: · Low quality venue · The room floors had a bad odor · 21 story hotel with only 2 working elevators which were broken for two months prior · Wait time for elevators was 10-30min · When expressing safety concerns regarding the elevators the party organizers simply stated: “What do you want me to do about it”, and “I wait in line just like everyone else” · No ice machines on any of the floors · Some rooms were missing refrigerators · Music was distorted · Drinks were $10 a piece served in very small glasses · Only two small bars with one bartender per which led to long wait times While we are certain the event was very profitable for the party organizers it was far from the high-end event the website and costs suggest. We will not be attending any future events sponsored by these party organizers.

We loved all the sexy connections we made and DJ Mo was GREAT! The hotel staff bent over backwards to keep us all happy, in spite of some hotel hassles about elevators and no hot water… But having said that - The event was organized but lacking in communication to attendees. A typed up sheet (line by line) (day by day) to be handed out at check in would have been extremely helpful. Many of us were unsure when and where things were happening and some even missed events they’d paid for. WILL WE RETURN - YES ????

Great party, however all should know we want to meet other couples. The HH music should not prevent you from having a conversation. Was a bit distracting with two rooms - would have been nicer with one big ballroom. Beautiful, super nice people!

NYE 2023

My honest opinion is that the ball was fun and the space was great. My only complaint was the food night of and the lobby bar service was very inexperienced. Most life style members to what I see have lots of money and don't mind paying for first class venues. I would rather pay more and have good quality like the hotel Zaza or similar. Other then that it was lots of fun and will keep coming back

The meet and greet at the Lodge and the NYE party were a blast! Lots of fun times and lots of great people. The organizers were also very helpful. For their part, I think the only thing that we would like to see is perhaps a conference room set up during the day on Saturday for more socializing (perhaps a mimosa bar?). Since the hotel bar was closed, and there was no indoor pool or jacuzzi, most people either went somewhere else or stayed in their rooms. We would also suggest a better hotel, even if that would mean a higher price. The breakfast and dinner that they served was not very good. The valet was also poorly run, and the bar service was excruciatingly slow. Nevertheless, we had a great time and would do it again.

Great party! Decadence always puts together a great fun event. We had a blast! Great venue with very cool rooms, nice party rooms, outstanding DJs, sexy dancers, and so much more. The crowd was hot and sexxy and we can’t wait until the next party. We wish Decadence put together more events. Loved the entire hotel takeover concept with multiple event in multiple days. The only thing we would of like to see would be more general seating areas/couches for non vip guests as well. Great event and recommend any party by them 100.

Rick the event promoter was such an amazing host, well planned event with great location selection, discreet and very attentive staff, the guest list was EXCEPTIONAL and will definitely go again! Pashur did my body paint for the event and this was a first for me. WOW HE IS SUCH a PRO! Amazingly talented, makes you feel so comfortable and excited to display his work! LOVED THE ENTIRE EVENT!

The hotel was very nice. The split rooms was a bit of a distraction but it worked. Just our two cents if anyone is asking, but bang for buck, the other hotel was just fine. We will go wherever Decadence is held, just our opinion.

Party. We were there for both the glow pajama party and NYE and the facility as top notch along with great space to Dance, see the ball drop and enjoy tons of great music in 2 different areas. Definitely recommend attending next year

The pre glow/pajama party was not a glow party like promoted and lacked any black lights. The ambience and decorations were in consistent with the party theme. No SDC signs were posted or promoted. It was put together very poorly and extremely cheap. The hotel was nice but the marketing, party decor, and overall representation was mismanaged. Their was no countdown to New Years and all attendees didn’t know when the clock struck 12. I will stay at the Lorenzo hotel in the future but won’t spend time or money for another Decadence event. We were very disappointed in the planning of the whole event. Hopefully in the future, someone else will take it over and revamp the Decadence name!

Drinks were way over priced and too small. Music was almost too loud at times. Layout was nice with 2 rooms.

Ugh, night and day from last year. Hotel sucks, front desk sucks, asked for 1st floor got told it was booked even though I booked early, then found out they put people in 1st floor who checked in after me. Bartenders were incompetent and gave my credit card to someone else and it’s gone. After the bar shutdown the bar staff were upstairs drunk or been drinking, one bartender told me he didn’t have my shit. Wow. Crowd was ok but not much going on after midnight. I won’t bother wearing a $1,000 Tuxedo set up when large majority was dressed to go to the honky Tonk or a regular club. Probably my last night and to end it the best dressed couple were barely dressed for a classy ball and more like the fetish ball. Sorry but that will be our last one.

The Ball was a blast! And if you get the tickets early enough it’s a bargain for all that’s provided. Even at day of pricing you get what you paid for. This is an all out event planned with decadence in mind. The pros are long and plentiful, and the only con we had was one security guard who took his job a bit too seriously. But in no way takes away from the absolute blast we had. We don’t recommend staying all 3 nights. The hotel was dead on night 1 & Day 2. If you build in an extra night we recommend doing it on the backside for recovery. Noon gets there quite early after an all night party lol. All-in-all we do recommend the event, and will go back in the future.

Awesome event!! We had a blast. Very well put together and a very hot crowd. Met lot of great people. Friendly staff, solid respectful security. Fun times for sure. We will definitely be looking for and attending more events with them.

Pajama party was awesome except for the bar situation was terrible. Had to wait 30 minutes for a drink. Was ridiculous. New Years party was not much fun. The music was terrible but maybe it’s because we were older. We had a table and the service was terrible. And I got an extra bottle and was charged $365 really. That’s almost criminal. So will be be back. Not for the New Years party but maybe for the pajama party.

Loved It! Would like to see it in a bigger, nicer hotel next year. Hotel was OK but old. The event itself was great. General seating is needed. A bigger dance floor would be great as well. Staff at event was great. Hotel staff at desk was great.

This is our second year to attend, the last year we were able to go to our room with drinks and this year we couldnt, that was disappointing and the drinks this year were way to expensive. Other than that we had a good time and the staff was great.

Security was a out of line and rude. When trying to exit or return from smoking we’re totally out of line. Asking more questions and refusing to let us in the door. We understand the need for security but do not think they have to use foul language or be rude. The music / dj was not as good as expected. The target range of music is not suited for your majority crowd music great if your 25-30 but your majority is older. So you might want to look into that. Thanks

The Ball was a lot of fun. Having the club and ballroom was a great idea, as the club was packed, but the ballroom had its own group of partiers with great EDM music. Liked the cash bar as opposed to having to buy tickets the last time we attended. Valet service was on time but a bit pricey. Overall a good time. See yall next year.

Thanks so much for the perfect NYE Bash. The years of this event being partnered with the host hotel has produced a NYE event we will look to attend year after year. KUDOS to the whole crew!

We had an absolute blast at TangledUp 2019! The venue was perfect, the resort staff was awesome and the food was great! We will definitely return next year. We hope this is an annual event!

First time at this event for us, the atmosphere was perfect. The party was live and the crowd was super sexy. The event was well run. There should of been complimentary champagne for the guests at midnight. Hotel could use some updating, but within your typical deviant party crowds standard.

This was our 3rd year to attend the Decadence Ball. It was not as crowded as last year, but that was a good thing. It was much easier to get drinks at the bars this year. The DJs and performers were all good. The venue is in similar condition as last year, that is, hit and miss. Our room was fine, but some of our friends had challenges with their rooms (missing refrigerators, broken ice machines, etc.). We 100 love the fact that it is a takeover and you dont have to worry about vanillas (beyond the curious ones who bought a ticket). We attended the PJ party the night before and had a ton of fun there. Overall, this was a great event. We look forward to seeing what changes and improvements happen next year.

We had a great time at the NYE Decadence Ball. We were not able to attend the Saturday and Sunday events, but had a room for the Monday night main event. It was well executed for the most part. Our biggest criticism was that the DJ in the smaller ballroom could not seem to read the room and pick music people wanted to dance to. The wait time for drinks was mostly acceptable. We were able to catch up with some old friends and make some new ones. It was convenient having a room to go back to if needed. We would probably attend again and consider staying more nights to experience more of the takeover.

We went to our second Decadence Ball and had a fantastic time ! We did the 3-day Saturday, Sunday, Monday stay and had fun every night. The Meet n Greet mixer on Saturday night got the party started. Met many new friends that Im sure will become lifelong friends. The PJ Party was definitely a hit.. OMG what fun! Of course the New Years Party was incredible ... very well attended! with beautiful people.. love it ! The hotel steak and lobster dinner was surprisingly delicious, far better than I imagined. About the only negative was the wait time at the bar ... too long ! But after a overly generous tip, even that problem was solved. The hotel rooms left a little to be desired, but we were not there for luxurious room accomodations, but overall the ballroom, music, and people made the memories... noon checkout came far too early ! We had very high hopes for this years party after all the complaints about last year. With two ball rooms why do you have to have the same music in both? We had a fairly large group of friends (18-20 people) who decided to hang out in the smaller room. Two reasons, tables to sit at and hoping for a better (in our opinion) music mix. Several of us even asked the DJ to play some rock, pop, etc. We were ignored and nothing changed. I will say there were some great improvements over 2018 but the dance floor in the smaller ballroom was virtually empty all night and everyone we talked with said "the music sucks." Why not give us a variety?

Can't say enough good things about this event. Top notch, great service & great attention to detail. Presentation was perfect at the tables, the DJs were on point, and loved the extras, like the Michael Jackson impersonator, who was also phenomenal. The hosts are a class act as well - we were very impressed with everything. Thanks much & Happy New Year!

We absolutely loved the Decadence Ball. We are new to the life style and was a wonderful entrance into the community. The night started off as a regular New Year’s Eve party and gradually progressed through the night. We saw a few naked ladies dancing and even some folks having sex in their hotel room overlooking the dance floor. The hotel accommodated the even very well and had security on staff at all times. The attendees were always courteous and respectful during the entire event. We are both ecstatic we attend this event and enjoyed the introduction to SDC.

Great party! It was put together well. The only recommendation would be to have it in a nicer hotel!

The DJs were on point. We enjoyed the Michael Jackson impersonator, and our cocktail waitress kept our drinks full at our King Package booth bottle service!

We had a great time, venue was clean and in good order, our bottle service was delayed but the staff rectified the situation and gave our table a round of shots. Good music gave the wife happy feet and she danced the night away. While we only stayed one night this year we plan on booking a room for the whole take over next year.

Was not as big a crowd as last year but still descent turn out. Maybe with it not being on weekend affected the turn out as well. Back ball room was not nearly as hopping as last year and was vacant not long after midnight. Will portably skip it until it falls on the weekend again.

We had an awesome time. It was great for everyone to have all access to the club. The music was incredible. It has been years since we have had a good mix like that to dance to. Kudos to the DJ. We ended up spending most of our time downstairs and still managed to have an uninhibited night of fun!

We don t let people bring in their own mixers because we don t want big bottles of things all over the tables... it looks trashy and we never, in the 9 years we ve been open, allowed anyone to bring in their own ice or mixers.... it s a nominal fee. Facts would be good when writing a review. Not to mention, what other places do you have to relate us to? When price becomes a factor you lose sight of the value...

tooooo...expensive and over rated...too clickish...and the black staff floor man does not care if ladies are mistreated,,,bad experince....lets try another place.....

The club was awesome.The people are nice and nice looking.The door donation is on the high side but ok but the setups are pretty costly. $6.00 for a coke or water is pretty high.
