A woman who once felt too shy and insecure for the lifestyle discovers that the anonymity of a mask is all she needed to unleash a bold, sensual side of herself she never knew existed.

We were in the lifestyle years before we went to our first lifestyle event, which was a mask party.

My husband was in the lifestyle before we ever dated, so he introduced me to it. He always talked about how fun, social, and friendly the parties, hotel takeovers, and clubs are. I was apprehensive because I enjoy the sensuality of one-on-one and two-on-one date nights. Plus, I am shy at first, worry about being judged, and have my own insecurities — even though I know people in the lifestyle are extremely friendly and nonjudgmental.

The first masked party we went to was a vanilla Valentine's Day burlesque show. I wore a sexy short black dress and a cute mask. When we showed up, I was in shock at how much riskier the other women had dressed, and I felt like I was wearing too many clothes. Now, this was a non-lifestyle event, so it was surprising but so much fun. I remember thinking the entire evening that I wished I had brought a backup outfit so I could show off more. Behind the mask, I felt secure and more confident than I expected.

About a year later, my husband mentioned that a lifestyle hotel takeover was coming up with a sexy, elegant masked party. I said yes, even though I had never attended a lifestyle event before. The idea of wearing a mask, feeling that anonymous confidence while dressing as risqué as I wanted, immediately felt thrilling.

The night of my first hotel takeover, my husband wore a very nice tailored suit and a black mask. Knowing how I had felt at the Valentine's event, I showed up in a plunging neckline, open-back jumpsuit with no bra or panties, and a mask that covered just enough to make me feel sexy, exposed, and anonymous. This time I brought multiple backup outfits depending on how my mood shifted throughout the evening.

The night was great. There was a mix of women wearing practically nothing and men in everything from suits to very little. Not knowing who was who, and the fact that nobody knew me, felt incredibly hot. There were so many people I was attracted to.

After a few drinks and chatting with so many friendly people, I slipped away to the bathroom to change. I took off the jumpsuit and slipped into a tiny black dress that also plunged deep in the front and was open in the back. It turned sheer wherever the light hit it. Walking back out in that dress, mask on, heels clicking, I felt exactly right.

I consider myself mostly straight, but I love kissing men and women. Not long after the outfit change, I was talking to a beautiful woman wearing lingerie and a white mask. I didn't know her name. I asked if I could kiss her. She said yes, and we stood in the middle of everyone and made out. I said thank you, walked back to my husband, and told him how hot it felt. He suggested I lean into it. He knows how much of a turn-on great kissing is for me, so I spent the evening meeting as many people as I could and asking each one if they would like to make out for a minute. Nobody said no.

I spent the rest of the night chatting and deeply making out with men, women, and couples. I never kissed longer than a minute or two. Everyone touched and rubbed my body, and I felt them up too. It was such a great tease, and the anonymous feeling the mask gave me helped me push boundaries I never would have crossed before. I never would have gone to that party. I never would have worn a see-through dress. And I never would have asked so many strangers to kiss me.

By the end of the evening, I was so turned on I could not wait for an intense, long lovemaking session. My husband loves watching me sensually kiss others, so he was just as eager to get to our hotel room. When we got there, I freshened up and slipped into thigh highs and lingerie I knew would drive him wild. We spent the night enjoying each other, reliving the evening over and over — how I felt, how sexy it was to kiss so many people, knowing that the next day I would have no idea who any of them were if I passed them on the street.

I highly recommend everyone attend a lifestyle masked event. I have been to a few of them now, and I have never looked back.
